Simon T. Bailey teaches leaders how to amplify brilliance in permanent uncertainty. This is based on his original research, practical frameworks, and learning content delivered digitally at scale in more than 100 languages, so a manager in São Paulo, Seoul, or Silicon Valley hears it in her own tongue.
At the center of that work is a bold claim: hope is a measurable leadership strategy — the resource that determines whether people show up whole in an age of AI, acceleration, and emotional fatigue. His national study, The State of Working America: Thriving in Resilience and Brilliance, has reshaped how organizations understand well-being and the psychological drivers of performance. His twelfth book, Amplify Hope: Lead From Where You Are Standing, names the era his research describes: the Hope Economy. His weekly podcast, Amplify Hope Today, puts that research to work one conversation at a time.
The foundation was laid at the Disney Institute, where as sales director he learned that service is not a transaction but an elevation of the human experience — an insight he has since tested inside 2,600 organizations across 55 countries. The receipts run twenty-four years deep: 14 LinkedIn Learning courses reaching 400,000 professionals in 100 countries, and a place on Success magazine’s Top 25 People Who Will Help You Succeed.
He serves on the board of the Orlando Health Foundation and holds an Executive MBA from the University of East London. He is a father of two college-educated young adults whose unfolding brilliance he considers his proudest work.
He also predicts the Buffalo Bills will win a Super Bowl in his lifetime. The research on that is pending.
