THE INTERN GROUP

Can't decide whether you should climb the career ladder or travel the world? The Intern Group (TIG) lets you do both at once in Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin America and North America. TIG takes students like you around the globe for internships lasting from as little as 4 weeks to as long as 6 months. The Intern Group provides:

IBGA/TFAS

The Institute on Business and Government Affairs at The Fund for American Studies (IBGA/TFAS) has been known as a leader in the nonprofit world for 50 years. Their goal is to change the world by developing leaders for a free society. In cooperation with Beta Gamma Sigma’s mission of cultivating leadership and professional excellence, IBGA/TFAS is presenting BGS members a unique experience that combines real-world training with targeted networking opportunities. IBGA/TFAS benefits for BGS members include the following:

  • 8-week internship in Washington D.C.

  • $500 scholarship to all BGS members

UNITED PLANET

BGS members give back because we know we share a responsibility to act ethically in business and in our communities. Osgood Center FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDIES

Want to be on the international stage in Washington, DC?   For students interested in international trade policies, international development, national security (including cyber), geopolitics, and related areas, we offer exceptional internship opportunities on a flexible, ongoing basis.  Selected interns will be called on to support various short-term educational programs we offer throughout the year.  These programs include, among others:  

  • DC Model UN
  • Model National Security Council
  • Change and Continuity in American Leadership Seminar
  • Osgood Institute on the Global Economic and Security Order

Please Note: The Osgood Center also offers an academic internship program that can place you in a supervised internship from among thousands available in Washington, D.C.

Washington Internship Institute

Combing an internship with classes while being in the nation’s capital is what we offer to you. We will work with you to help find an internship that has your major, interests and career goals at heart. While you are in Washington, DC you will intern four days a week while the other day taking classes (Internship Seminar and a Policy Course) in our office in downtown DC. You will have the opportunity to earn credits while doing the program from your home institution. We offer housing for you and the rest of the intern to live in as well. Since you are part of Beta Gamma Sigma you will be awarded a $500 scholarship.
