BGS Gives Back

Beta Gamma Sigma members have been making a positive impact on their communities in countless ways through our BGS Gives Back initiative.

Chapters and members alike are helping to create meaningful change, and we want to express our gratitude for their unwavering dedication to service.

In 2024, BGS introduced a theme inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to guide these efforts. While each chapter and member is encouraged to engage in service activities that resonate with them personally, we hope the SDGs offer a framework for broader impact.

For the 2025/2026 academic year, we’ll spotlight Quality Education with a focus on improving youth literacy.

Examples of ways to give back include:

  • Donating books to schools or organizations

  • Hosting a Book Drive or School Supply Drive (e.g., pens, paper, crayons)

  • Making a Children’s Book with your Chapter

  • Volunteering with a reading program or as a tutor

  • Hosting a Bingo for Books event

Share your initiatives by completing the BGS Gives Back form at the bottom of this page. Collegiate chapters who submit their BGS activities through the form by June 30th of each year, will be entered into a random drawing to win $250 USD to help support future activities. Logging your activities not only highlights BGS’s global impact but also helps chapters earn honor roll points.
