BGS members give back because we know we share a responsibility to act ethically in business and in our communities. Our members span the globe and their good works make far-reaching and long-lasting impacts. We care for our children & education, for the health of our fellow people, and for the environment. United Planet cares too and offers in person and Virtual Volunteer and Internship programs with:
- One merit-based scholarship for an inducted student member of each Beta Gamma Sigma chapter per calendar year in the amount of $500 (for any United Planet international TRAVEL program available in over 35 countries).
- One merit-based scholarship for an inducted student member of each Beta Gamma Sigma chapter per calendar year in the amount of $250 (for any United Planet international VIRTUAL program available in over 25 countries).
- Five merit-based scholarships for Beta Gamma Sigma alumni per calendar year in the amount of $500 (for any United Planet international program in one of over 35 countries).
*Awards are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. All applications must be received at least 75 days before the start of desired Quest program.
