About Wesley

Dr. Wesley Pech is an applied microeconomist specializing in behavioral economics, game theory, judgment and decision making, industrial organization, and economics of higher education. Prior to serving as associate dean of the Stillman School of Business, Wesley was the chair of the Economics, Finance and Marketing department at Tennessee Technological University, and a faculty member in the economics department at Wofford College.

Wesley’s research combines theoretical models and laboratory experiments to investigate different aspects of human behavior, such as social preferences, trust and reciprocity, rationality, strategic interactions, and risk attitudes. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Massachusetts and his B.A. in economics from the Federal University of Paraná in Brazil.
