Jill Stoffers, Senior Director of Institutional Partnerships

Jill Stoffers first became interested in working with people from different countries during high school when she was part of the AFS (American Field Service) club and participated in Model United Nations. In college she spent part of her sophomore year in Sheffield, England and part of her senior year in Brussels, Belgium.

Today she is the senior director of institutional partnership at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, where she works to meet the enrollment goals of the Institute and employment goals of our graduates. She has taught Marketing and Recruiting and Practicum courses in the International Education Management program.

Stoffers has been an enrollment management professional for 25 years, starting her career at Portland State University in Oregon in undergraduate admissions, where she worked with community college transfer and international students. She has spent the past 20 years at the Institute, where she has gained extensive experience recruiting and admitting international graduate students, managing staff across three departments, awarding scholarships and meeting enrollment and budget goals.
