Alumni Chapter Awards

The Alumni Chapter Awards program recognizes the achievements of Beta Gamma Sigma alumni chapters and their members, celebrating outstanding leadership, engagement, and community impact. Each year, we honor chapters and individuals who exemplify these values, reinforcing BGS’s mission to be a catalyst for good.

The program is open to Alumni Chapters that meet eligibility requirements, including maintaining active chapter officers, submitting the Alumni Chapter Annual Report, and hosting at least two events during the fiscal year. Nominations require approval and endorsement from chapter leadership. Eligible chapters will be notified via email in July with domination details and deadlines.

San Diego Area Alumni Chapter

The San Diego Area Alumni Chapter offers a diverse range of in-person and virtual events, from yoga sessions and community service projects to networking mixers and professional development webinars - ensuring opportunities for all members to connect. By embodying BGS’s values of honor, wisdom, and earnestness, the chapter has built a strong, engaged community. Through consistent outreach, event programming, and collaboration with local businesses and collegiate chapters, the chapter continues to elevate the BGS mission.

Peru Alumni Chapter: Meeting with Headhunters

The event, which had to be held twice due to high demand, fostered strong engagement among BGS members by creating a space for continuous interaction with guest speakers from senior BGS members and top headhunting companies. It enhanced BGS’ brand visibility by showcasing the talent and professional capabilities of its members, while also creating valuable networking opportunities that benefit alumni in the labor market both immediately and in the future.

Alex Waddell - New Zealand Alumni Chapter

Alex Waddell has been instrumental in expanding Beta Gamma Sigma’s presence across New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region. His initiatives, including Career Success sessions, Masterclass events, and the development of a dedicated member website, have strengthened member engagement while increasing BGS’s visibility among business schools, faculty, and the broader professional community. Through his dedication and strategic outreach, Alex has built meaningful alliances that connect BGS members globally, enhancing the overall BGS experience.
