Times are changing and meeting in person is not always an option.
Check out a few best practices for virtually engaging Beta Gamma Sigma members below.

Social Media

Your chapter’s social media pages provide a great way to stay connected with BGS members in your area and all over the world. Be sure to post content regularly. Don’t forget to follow our pages and re-share our content.

ConnectBGS

There are a variety of Alumni and General Interest Communities in ConnectBGS. Alumni Chapter Leaders and Alumni Networking Group Leaders both have communities dedicated to connecting and sharing best practices amongst each other. Jump in and introduce yourself!

Virtual Events

Platforms such as Zoom, Skype, and Google Hangouts are great sources to network with people virtually. Get creative with your event ideas: consider holding a virtual chapter meeting, having a speaker do a Q&A session, or hosting a virtual happy hour. Reach out to local collegiate chapter leaders to share your event details. If you need contact information, email us at alumni@betagammasigma.org.

Monthly Newsletter

Update your members by sending out a newsletter. Feel free to share personal success stories of fellow chapter members and blogs that your chapter may find interesting.
