Alumni Chapter Scholarship Program





In partnership with BGS Global Headquarters, participating alumni chapters award a $1,000 USD scholarship to a BGS student member, supporting their educational journey. This program aligns with our strategic commitment to fostering leadership, academic excellence, and service.

Student Member Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be a Beta Gamma Sigma member.
  • Be enrolled in an AACSB-accredited undergraduate or graduate business program for the upcoming academic year.
  • Submit a completed official BGS Scholarship Application Form.

Note: Alumni chapters may establish additional selection criteria as part of their review process.

Scholarship Award

Each $1,000 USD scholarship includes $750 USD provided by BGS Global Headquarters and $250 USD from the local alumni chapter. This scholarship is awarded annually. Applications are typically due in mid-May, with recipients selected by the chapter and notified by the end of July.

Alumni Chapter Participation

Eligible alumni chapters will be notified early in the year about the opportunity to offer the scholarship. Chapters wishing to participate must opt in by the designated deadline. Once opted in, they can request BGS Global Headquarters to send a dedicated email to BGS student members in their area to raise awareness and encourage applications. Participating chapters must ensure applicants use the official Scholarship Application Form provided by BGS Global Headquarters.
