I am an assistant professor and teach courses in global business and finance. In addition, through my company Investing Essentials, I have the fortunate opportunity to help busy professionals make sense of the complex investing landscape. I have taken the knowledge of teaching and blended it with my real-world, practical experience in finance and business to help individuals become passionate about taking control of their financial future.
Although a native of Atlanta, Georgia, I have traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia. I spent 15 years working on Wall Street with Daiwa Securities America conducting international mergers and acquisitions, and with GE Capital in capital markets. Previously, I worked for PwC as a management consultant.
I earned my BBA from Goizueta Business School of Emory University and my Master of Science in Finance and Doctorate of Business Administration from J. Mack Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University. I also graduated from GE Capital’s Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP), a 2-year international management training program for senior managers.
My professional goal is to teach full-time and continue helping individuals with their financial literacy.
